Dr. Albie Micklich came to me in 2022 needing a website for his bassoon studio at ASU. The primary purpose was to showcase himself as an educator and artist to attract prospective students. We built him a multi-page responsive website on Squarespace so it would be easy for him to update and manage himself. With custom graphics, a neutral color pallet, and mobile optimized layout, this website has been key in his artistic and academic career.
A year later Albie needed a new logo for his business Sonoran Double Reeds. This versatile logo and branding set included bright colors that highlight the warmth of the desert. We created several versions that would work on a variety of print and digital mediums.
Albie is primarily a bassoonist, but his business represents both oboes and bassoons. Therefore, this logo was designed and rendered in two versions: one with the oboe and one without.
As one of the most variable logos I’ve designed to-date, Albie received his final deliverables complete with dozens of files, including light and dark options that could be used on a variety of backgrounds, and many more! We then created a second website for Sonoran Double Reeds based on his original site, so he could keep the two businesses separated.
