The most frequent question I get when running my Adobe Photoshop class is about the difference in photo software. As a result, I am usually asked asked, “can I use Elements or Lightroom”.

The full version of Photoshop (currently running on Creative Cloud 2016) is a different program then Photoshop Elements or Lightroom.

A Quick Comparision

However they do lack many of the full Photoshop features. In general, Photoshop CC is ultimately best for graphic designers, professional photographers, and anyone needing (or wanting) the extra features.
